Being diagnosed with bipolar disorder can be difficult and even scary. The moment a doctor tells you that you have a mental illness can be one of the worst moments of your life. However, Healthline aims to help those recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder with “You’ve Got This” — a public service campaign which has user-submitted videos to support those recently diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
I wrote an article on “You’ve Got This” about six months ago. In that article I said I would make my video to submit within a few days, but I never got around to it. A few weeks ago, Healthline sent me an email asking me to submit my own video. Here is my video which has been posted on their website:
If you’d like to view videos submitted by others you can find them on the Healthline website. You don’t have to wait for an invitation to participate. Information on how to submit your video can be found on the Healthline website:
In addition to helping those newly diagnosed with bipolar, Healthline will donate $10 to “To Write Love on Her Arms”. You can find information about “To Write Love on Her Arms” on their website.
Are you interested in participating? Will you be submitting a video? What do you think about my submission?
“I am not my disorder, and neither are you.” Heartfelt and accurate. Thanks, Bradley. Beautiful!
I love how you referred to NAMI and DBSA – such great resources. What an awesome video, Brad! I wish I didn’t blog anonymously so I could make one. Oh well, we each do our part in our own ways. 🙂
Thank you, Wil
